Cut Loose is a no-pressure collage workshop for beginners and art stars alike, providing an opportunity for creative rest. My approach is pretty lo-fi. Scissors, glue, paper, experimentation. That’s how I started collaging over 12 years ago—and that’s my teaching formula today. Keep it simple, don’t get hung up by perfectionism, and let go.
I’ll help you get acclimated to the materials and use design parameters to find creative freedom. Some students have used the making process to identify and challenge narratives that don’t serve them well when exploring new activities. I can work with you on your breakthroughs, too! Learn more about my evolution as a collage artist and take a look through my portfolio at my latest collections.
